I don't know about you but I'm sick of the endless wrangling over trash in the Quarter. El Sid has taken his instructions from C Ray literally and hasn't even picked up in spots that were *always* collected pre-K such as the Pontalba. I'm annoyed because there are trash bags on Decatur Street with orange Xs on them and it probably took as much time to paint the bags as it would to collect them. I halfway expect the Gray Ghost to show up and paint the bags.

There's some talk that a settlement may be reached between the Council and Mayor. Unfortunately Jackie Clarkson is the source and she hasn't exactly been right before. Let's hope she is this time. I'm sick of the whole thing; especially since it seems to be either a diversionary tactic by the Nagin administration or a way for the Trashanova to get his mug on tevee.
