TOP CHEF MEETS LOONEY TUNES
As many of you know, I'm a Top Chef fanatic. Lord help me, I'm going to hell; not really but if I do, I hope to meet Gordon Ramsay on the way in. Anyway, my favorite contestant this season is the human toon Andrew D'ambrosi who reminds me of Daffy Duck. If that makes me as despicable as Bugs Bunny so be it.
Andrew is a twitchy geek who is funnier than hell. He has absolutely no filter as proven by my favorite Andrewism: "I have a culinary boner." Whatever, dude. You know, he sort of reminds me of that funny little man Dr. Homan who is also prone to foot in mouth disease. In fact he could even be called Gaffey Duck...
I'm uncertain as to whether Andrew will win Top Chef Chicago-my money is on Richard Blais -but he's easily the most entertaining cheftestant since Dave (I'm not your bitch, bitch) Martin. I doubt that Andrew will ever get his own stamp like his role model Daffy Duck but he may well get his own Chia Pet:
I'm rooting for Stephanie, because I feel like it's about time a chick won
it, but you're right, Richard seems to have the right balance of
leadership, talent, and levelheadedness to pull it off. Then again, that
would make him a great guy to get robbed like Sam or Trey did in past
seasons.
I like Stephanie a lot too. She's on my ilst of faves. You need to see
Season-1, Ray. You haven't had the Stephen and Dave experience; both total
wack jobs but in a good way like, say, Loki.
I predict that Spike will be eliminated this week
Spike? Yeah, that sounds quite possible. He's probably the weakest one
left.
spike is a douchebag who should have been kicked off weeks ago.
We've been rooting for Stephanie the whole way. She's the only one who
isn't kind of a douche in this crop.
