I had a good Thanksgiving. I ate well and heartily, drank a bit too much and traded text messages with some good friends about the glories of teal with sweet potatoes and the horrors of Les Miles and tubas. Yeah, I know that sounds like a string of non-sequiturs but that's what I do.
It was a good day in the context of a very hard year; being a small businessperson during the recession on steroids is beyond challenging. But I'm trying to live one day at a time and remember that there are days like today when I can still feel content and even satisfied:
As long as there are teal and sweet potatoes you will have reason to give
thanks. And so will I. Hope it was a good one ... and that the next one
will be even better.
