OH WELL, A TOUCH OF GREY (GHOST)

There's been a lot of talk around the NOLA blogosphere about Fred Radtke aka the Grey Ghost.  Mark Folse kicked it off at Toulouse Street and the grey ghost chatter has spread like the plague among the chattering classes: Maitri, Loki and Dangerblond have chimed in thus far. Radtke is the malaka who runs around town using grey paint to cover graffitti no matter where he finds it. For example, there are several spots at the Upper Pontalba that he's spritzed. Yo, Fred, it's an historic building: all you're doing is defacing it all over again. I think Dangerblond has the best line about the Grey Ghost: "This guy is basically an aggressive dog, sniffing out the places where other dogs have peed, and peeing on top of their pee."

Spot on, Kim. I think someone should whap Radtke's nose with a rolled up newspaper and rub it in some grey paint. Down, Spot. Bad, Spot. Hmm, I wonder if he'll be marching in Barkus with Michael and Howie...

All this talk of grey has me thinking of the hippie rock anthem I alluded to (Quay Lewded?) in the post title, man. I guess this qualifies as going from the ridiculous to the sublime, man. Note: Like Mr. Entertainment, hippies say man a lot, man:
