MORE LIBERAL THAN THE KINGFISH?
The merry pranksters at the Kennedy for US Senate campaign are calling Mary Landrieu the "most liberal Senator in Louisiana history." This comes in response to the Landrieu's clever "confused politician" attack ads showing a picture of Malaka John lookin' goofy. Landrieu the most liberal Senator? I wish.
For my non-Louisiana readers here are the two ads in question. The first one focuses on Malaka John's flip floppery. I'm not crazy about their throwing his support of John Kerry in the mix: Landrieu supported Big John as well. Otherwise it's a well-crafted and even factual ad:
The second ad involves the third rail of American politics: social security. Bush's failed privatization scheme is the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks, W:
