LOVE GONE TO WASTE

It was rowdy and loud in the Quarter on Friday. It was full of drunk Florida Gator fans the day before the big game with LSU. I resisted the frequent temptation to holler "Tiger Bait" at them too. Several non-SEC football savvy people asked me why they were in New Orleans if the game was being played elsewhere. My reply: "You obviously never been to Baton Rouge."

You're probably asking yourself (yet again) what this has to do with a Robert Cray tune. I cranked up some of Mr. Cray's music yesterday to drown out the crappy street band and Love Gone To Waste is the song that became an earworm:
