LIARS: BAD SHEPHERD & NATIONWIDE

The noise next door has abated enough for me to post about liars. So, I guess I lied too but there's a lot of it going around. Derrick Shepherd and his "ex-girlfriend" Thaise Ashford appeared in federal court yesterday and she recanted her most of story about Senator Ass Crack's assaulting her and stealing her blackberry. So, let's review the lies: Shepherd lied about their no longer being an item and she now claims that she called the cops because she and the Bad Shepherd have trust issues. Really? No kidding. So, she either lied to the police or under oath to a federal magistrate. Nice. Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand is not amused and is looking into whether charges should be filed against Ms. Ashford. LINK. From local liars, let's go nationwide. John McCain's campaign has actually been called out by a story in today's WaPo. LINK. The McCainiacs have been claiming that Barack Obama didn't visit troops in Germany because he was too arrogant or handsome or some such shit. The WaPo's Micheal Shear and Dan Balz don't overtly call Walnuts a lying sack of shit but they come close with this headline: McCain Charge Against Obama Lacks Evidence. I wonder how long until the apologists start peddling the "he was a POW, so he can say whatever he wants because he's authentic" line. Of course, those are the same people who claimed Walnuts was a great candidate in 2000 instead of the inept Bob Dole clone we've seen in 2008. Not only is McCain a liar, he's a bad liar. Maybe that's why Karl Rove is advising him now: the man knows from lying...
